Deborah Friedson received a Bachelors of Arts degree in studio art and art education at Wagner College where her focus was printmaking. Her graduate studies at Syracuse University also provided her with a rich experience in textiles. Ms. Friedson's early work combined the techniques of printmaking with woven textiles. Her work has exhibited at Greenhut Gallery in Albany, New York, the Schenectady Museum in Schenectady, New
York, Shining Through in Delray Beach, Florida and Symmetry Gallery in Saratoga Springs, New York. Additionally, her original paintings created for the benefit of cystic fibrosis research are installed at the national offices of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Bethesda, Maryland.
Ms. Friedson is a member of the Saratoga County Arts Council and a former board member of the Northeast New York Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She is a mother of two grown sons and resides in upstate New York where she lives with her husband and teaches art in Niskayuna Central Schools.
